The BBC 2012 – London Apprenticeships

This scheme is a fantastic opportunity to kick-start a career in the media.  You will work at the BBC for a year, and your experience – together with training and study at Westminster Kingsway College – will add up to all the skills and knowledge you need for a Creative and Digital Media Apprenticeship Level 3.

If you’re passionate about media, 18 or over, and don’t have a degree and aren’t in full time education, then this could be a great opportunity for you.  By 2012 we will have trained up three groups of apprentices in London.  You could be amongst them.

What is an Apprentice?  An Apprentice is someone who is there to learn as well as to work. We will give you training and support to achieve your goals – and you’ll gain a qualification at the end of it. With an apprenticeship, you get hands on experience in Television, and earn while you learn.

You will be paid an apprenticeship wage of £9,000 a year.  Apprentices will need to be 18 or over.  To find out more and to apply please visit: http://www.bbc.co.uk/jobs/apprenticeships/
