Whilst working on a pitch presentation this week, I was looking for visual examples for a design concept based personal and cultural elevation. This brought me to stairs and their primary function: to take us upwards.

What I found interesting through this line of exploration was even though stairs as a basic form have to have certain specifics in place to function, the execution can vary drastically. These degrees of interpretation work as a lovely metaphor for the journey to personal success and – you guessed it – elevation.
