Rochelle’s interest led her onto a BA in Photography from Middlesex University, where she has since graduated in 2012. Whilst there, she experimented with both film and digital, working with a Veronica Medium Format, Nikon 3200 and a Canon 81. Influenced by NY street photographer Jamal Shabazz and Magnum photographer Simon Wheatley, Rochelle has been developing her portrait style, travelling to destinations such as New York on self-initiated projects. Rochelle’s latest experience / projects includes assisting Dalston based Tim & Barry (Just Jam) photographing ‘Footwork’ dancers. Rochelle’s street photography has also been selected for display as part of the BP Spotlight: Source at Tate Britain until 28 September.]]>
