Put Me On It :: Hello Skinny

The brains behind music blog Put Me on It Amelia Ideh is a music marketeer by day and somewhat of an A&R guru by night. The music blog PMOI provides a platform for new music championing independent and major label signed artists alike. Previously featured PMOI artists include SBTRKT, Floating Points, Dam Funk, Azealia Banks and Lianne La Havas; positioning them in taste maker communities before notoriety strikes.

The music maven also puts on live events as an extension of the PMOI brand, recently partnering with the PRS Foundation to showcase artists.

PMOI’s last event featured Hello Skinny – aka the contemporary electronic jazz artist / producer Tom Skinner – also known for previous collaborative projects with Finn Peters (also featured) and Matthew Herbert. The film features an interview with a live experimental session at the Old Queens Head.

Skinny’s track ‘Crush’ also appeared on Gilles Peterson’s Brownswood Bubblers last year.

Hello Skinny’s Smash and Grab EP was released in July 2012 and is available for free download here.
